Expectations from the tutors of CHPE Distance Learning Study Groups (DLSGs)
- Attending the orientation session planned for the tutors for the understanding of the format of the course.
- Introduction and familiarity with participants through one or two zoom sessions at the start of the course
- Maintaining record of students’ attendance and participation
- Follow up and email to students not attending the discussion boards and assignments.
- Timely reporting of non-responding students to CHPE coordinator through email with info to Program directors and course coordinator
- Confirmation of final disposal (i.e., drop out) of the participants absent from Moodle.
- In depth study of resource material to ensure intellectual input on discussion board and scholarly feedback to students on assignments and quizzes
- Visiting discussion board daily for feedback to participants and steering the discussion for expected learning outcome.
- Timely checking of assignment, quizzes with feedback to students
- Final Completion/marking of discussion boards and other assignments within 10 days of end of course.
- Identifying participants falling short of 60% in internal assessment, and reporting to course coordinator for remedial
- Twice in a course, zoom meeting with group to address queries and concerns.
- In order to certify for HPE the participants will be required to score:
a) Atleast 50% in continuous assessment (cumulative)
b) Atleast 25% in End of Program Exams
